samsara is the cyclic existence of birth, decay, and death in which all beings in the universe participate and which can only be escaped through nirvana, or enlightenment.
Please help me… From the definition, what I see is: “life” or “living”, but living doesn’t necessarily stop after enlightenment.
Is nirvana supposed to be the soul’s departure?
